Prior to setting up his own agency in 2011, Simon Williamson spent over ten years as a literary agent with comedy specialists JFL, expanding their film side.

Previously he was an actor and ran a consultancy, Doctor Script, working for major broadcasters, top independent television/film companies and drama producers. He has also represented actors, written and directed short films and worked as a puppeteer with the late Jim Henson and George Lucas.

SWA represents writers across the entire range of Film, TV, Theatre and Radio, with a strong focus on contemporary screenwriting, series television and stories with scale.
